Position: Board Members Results: Thirty days after starting the assignment, K. Fehling & Associates presented a diverse slate of twelve candidates for the board's review. Two were chosen from the slate and joined the board. These two new board members provide diverse ethnic and career backgrounds as well as different industry perspectives (although both with life sciences). The board and CEO were so pleased with the success of this assignment that they subsequently retained K. Fehling & Associates for two additional board seats the following year. Fourteen candidates were presented during the second board search and two candidates were selected, again assisting the initial goal of strengthening the company's corporate governance while also diversifying the board. Since fulfilling those four board seats, KFA has successfully completed a number of executive search assignments for Wright Medical including the Vice President, Research & Development; the Vice President, Regulatory & Clinical Affairs; the Senior Vice President, Operations; the Vice President, Human Resources; the Chief Compliance Officer and an additional Board Member.
