Carrie I. Steffes
Research Associate

Carrie joined K. Fehling & Associates in 2009 for the opening of the firm’s West Coast Office in Los Altos, California.  In her position as a Research Associate, Carrie is responsible for deploying a variety of strategic research methods to maintain and further expand KFA’s extensive proprietary database, which tracks the careers of greater than 35,000 life science executives.

Carrie began her career in marketing and communication; it has included valuable experience with leading technology and life science companies in the Bay Area.  Her passion for the medical device industry was sparked during her recent tenure with one of the Bay Area’s most successful spine device companies, Kyphon, which has since been acquired by Medtronic.

An alumna of California State University, Chico, Carrie earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. She resides in San Jose, California with her husband and two young sons.
