With more than 17 years experience assisting start ups and larger organizations successfully meet their recruiting needs, Mary’s expertise includes retained executive search and staffing management, as well as in-house corporate recruiting, with significant emphasis in the biotechnology, medical device, and diagnostics sectors. Mary is highly customer focused and adept at proactively sourcing, presenting and closing candidates, while utilizing strong consultative skills throughout the search process. She began her career in retained search at Heidrick & Struggles in the early 1990s. Prior to joining K. Fehling & Associates, Mary was an Executive Search Consultant at BioQuest, a Recruiting Consultant at both Tethys Bioscience and Bayer Diagnostics, and a Senior Staffing Manager at Novacea.

Mary has an undergraduate degree in English and Creative Writing from San Francisco State University. She has lived in San Francisco and worked in the Bay Area for over 20 years.
