After a 20-year career in the medical device industry, Kathy became an executive search consultant in 2001 and founded K. Fehling & Associates in 2003. Kathy’s extensive experience in general management provides her with unparalleled insight into client expectations as well as a clear understanding of the day-to-day demands and complexities among functional areas within an organization. Kathy has led successful Board of Director, C-level and Vice President search assignments in all functional areas in organizations of all sizes, public and private.

From 1997 – 2000, Kathy served as the Executive Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Operating Officer of a subsidiary of PSS World Medical in Jacksonville, Florida. During her tenure as the Chief Operating Officer, the subsidiary grew from $70 million in revenues to greater than $700 million while completing 46 acquisitions. Previously, Kathy enjoyed a progressive 13-year career with Picker International (now Philips Medical Systems) where she served as the Vice President of Marketing-Americas, and Vice President, Service. After graduating from Michigan State University with a pre-medical degree, Kathy began her career as a Surgical Sales Representative with American Hospital Supply Corporation.

Kathy is a member of several industry organizations, including IACPR (International Association of Corporate & Professional Recruitment), the WBL (Women Business Leaders of the U.S. Health Care Industry Foundation), BioFlorida and RAPS (Regulatory Affairs Professional Society). Active in the greater Jacksonville community, she serves on the Board of the MaliVai Washington’s Kids Foundation, is a member of the Wolfson Children’s Hospital Dream Coat Society and the Baptist Health Circle of Care Benefactors and a member of the Ponte Vedra Rotary Club.
